Keia is a food writer, oral historian, and multimedia storyteller with a penchant for pie. She is the copy editor for The Local Palate and deputy editor for Crop Stories, a food and farm journal covering agricultural stories in the South. Her work has appeared in Bon Appetit digital, Bake from ScratchModern Farmer, and Gravy.  

Keia is a member of Les Dames Escoffier and the Southern Foodways Alliance. She recently launched Milk Glass Pie, a passion project and small business focused on seasonal, from-scratch pies.
