Breana Killeen

A Southerner and Chinese Jew, Breana grew up thinking biscuits, matzo ball soup and Chinese roast pork all paired together perfectly for a meal. Currently, she is the test kitchen manager at EatingWell Magazine in Shelburne, VT where she oversees, edits and develops recipes for EatingWell Magazine, EatingWell.com and Diabetic Living Magazine. Breana also contributes all wine content and pairing suggestions for the brand, writes nutrition information for recipes throughout the magazine, assists with food styling on photo shoots and stars in Facebook Live instructional videos.
Breana continues to teach culinary classes at Southern Season in Chapel Hill and is also the communications chair for the Vermont Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and a speaker for the Food and Culinary Professionals Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Breana has a master’s degree in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu London, a Wine Spirit & Education Trust trained sommelier and a registered dietitian.
