On Friday evening, November 2, from 7 – 10 pm, TerraVITA will host The Carolina Table: East Meets West at the historic Chatham Mills in Pittsboro, NC. The idea behind The Carolina Table is showcasing chefs from different parts of the state and having them collaborate to create a fabulous 6-course meal, centered around top-quality, local ingredients.
This year, we have James Beard nominee Vivian Howard from Chef & The Farmer in Kinston, Charlotte Restaurateur of the Year Cassie Parsons from Harvest Moon Grille in Charlotte, and Adam Rose from Il Palio in Chapel Hill creating the first five courses. Jael & Dan Rattigan from French Broad Chocolate Lounge in Asheville will offer a lovely end to what promises to be a delicious meal.
For beverage and pairings, we will have Carrboro Coffee Roasters, Fullsteam Brewery and Sour Grapes wines...
This dinner is such an amazing opportunity to experience the very best this state has to offer in Farm to Table cuisine. Completely delicious food, sourced from amazing farmers (one of which is both chef and farmer) and brought together in one place to collaborate on an unforgettable meal!
