TerraVITA began three years ago out of a desire to produce a top-quality event the Southeast, showcasing the very best in food and wine. We wanted sustainability to be a keynote, but not surpassed by the importance of superior quality. TerraVITA has earned its reputation as one of the best food and beverage events in the Southeast because those standards have been central to our selection of participants.
There is no doubt you will encounter seriously delicious food, prepared by more than two dozen of the very best chefs in the state of North Carolina, alongside fantastic sustainably-produced beverages from all over the world - wines, microbrews, coffees and spirits - that communicate an essence of their terroir. All the participants are know and celebrated for their outstanding reputations and chosen for their devotion and allegiance to quality.
TerraVITA has now grown into a three-day festival, beginning with the Chefs’ Harvest Potluck fundraiser for the Carrboro Farmers’ Market on November 1, 2012, and ending with the Grand Tasting on The Green on November 3, 2012.
